“My art should be as malleable as the world we live in.
It should not be stagnant.
It should possess life and inspire the looker to give and take life from it.”
URBAN AIR GALLERY:
THE URBAN JUNGLE COLLECTION
A mural I curated & created in San Pancho, Mexico with the combined efforts of: the Colectivo San Pancho, 15 artists from San Pancho & Sayulita, and many more San Pancho community hands. It is a project from the Alley Art series.
A finished piece and some process photos from the collaborative project “Maneras” (ways). This project developed in Sayulita, Mexico with artists: Mojo, Denise Cárabez, Luis Martínez, and myself. The three works created began as photographs and each was painted to express one of three morals: compassion, ego, and hate.
A few from the series: “Becoming Conscious”, a 22 piece series of quick, spontaneous artworks that have everything and nothing to do with the words behind them.
