“FRAGMENTS OF RECOLLECTION” (limited run of 50)
A limited run, NO.4 edition, of my art zine Visual Philosophy.
This issue features the abstract urban-scape series “Fragments of Recollection”. This series is part of one of my working Collections; ‘The Golden City Has No Name’. The artworks are intuitive abstractions of city skylines and urban compositions… drawing influence from memory and sketchbook studies. The raw, abstract manner of creating these gestural paper pieces allows me to work aggressively and spontaneously on larger paintings with confidence, knowing I have trained the eye and the brush to be direct and free. The Zine also includes haiku poetry and sketchbook studies from 2023-2024 which coincide with the Golden City Collection.
Visual Philosophy editions are annual publications.
