“Mindscapes” is a collection of long forgotten landscapes and the simplicity they hold. Nothing and Everything beyond that horizon line… meditate into the abyss.
This piece is on repurposed hardwood with transparent painting techniques. It highlights subtle aspects of a photograph which was mounted to the wooden canvas as the original artwork. (Original photographer unknown) The landscape painted atop the photograph is a shoreside view of Two Harbors Island from L.A.
